December 6 is St. Nicholas Day in remembrance of the famous Turkish bishop who gave oranges and small gifts to the poor. Try making "Katie Bread" this week, a traditional bread to bake and share from Leigh McAfee's family.
ADVENT 3: JOY IN THE WAITING

We light the pink candle for joy this week. This Sunday is called Gaudete Sunday, from the Latin for "Rejoice." Read this week's Advent scriptures—where do they invite joy?
Bring your angels to church to show and tell after the service, and learn how to make a paper angel at home.
