BELIEFS

Incarnation is nourished by the same rhythms of prayer and worship that have sustained the church since the beginning, and continue to sustain Christians around the world. As Anglicans, these rhythms are shaped by the Book of Common Prayer.

We receive all the Christian scriptures, both the Old and New Testament of the Bible, as the authoritative source for our beliefs. We are guided in the life of faith by the Spirit of God.

The essential heart of what Christians believe is summarized in three historic statements of faith: the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.

We are a member of the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic in the Anglican Church in North America.
