Gifts for children of incarcerated parents

OAR's Amazon Wishlist

This year, we are partnering with our wonderful hosts at Greenbrier to collect gifts for Offender Aid and Restoration (OAR). Each Christmas, OAR collects gifts for the children of incarcerated parents, enabling the parents to provide gifts to their kids, strengthening relationships that are bearing so much strain.

All gifts should be donated new and unwrapped and placed directly in the cardboard OAR box in the narthex. Gifts should be appropriate for children ages newborn to 18. Stuffed animals and clothing are NOT accepted. OAR maintains a helpful Amazon wishlist with age-appropriate gifts.

OAR's greatest need, however, is for gifts for teens. The majority of gifts go to children ages 12-18, and gift cards in $20-25 increments to Target and Amazon are most wanted. As you shop, keep in mind the needs of these often overlooked older kids, whose gifts are not nearly as cute, but are just as important and needed.

Deadline for dropping off gifts at Greenbrier is December 9. More questions? OAR's website has everything you need to know.

Thanks, Incarnation, for supporting these vulnerable kids and their families this Christmas!
