WEEKLY OUTREACH UPDATE
We are collecting groceries for asylum-seeking families through our friends at Restoration Immigration Legal Aid (RILA). RILA has always fed its clients at its monthly clinics, but since they can no longer host big family-style meals around the table, they have instead been providing clients with groceries throughout the pandemic. These groceries an urgent need among people hard-hit by the economic fallout of COVID-19.
Our grocery collection will take place the weekend after Thanksgiving, Nov 28-29. After a day of feasting and giving thanks around the table, this is a simple way to turn outward and support others.
