Maryland Service Update

Hooray for Maryland volunteers!

We had our first service at Hyattsville Mennonite Church (HMC) on Sunday, January 26, at 5pm, and we had so much fun. We worshipped in HMC’s beautiful space; the kids were as involved as ever; and we welcomed a few visitors and enjoyed a lively potluck afterward. It might have been too lively, as Elisa broke her arm while giving a piggyback ride. 

We’re looking forward to making some tweaks to our setup and teardown, thinking about how we might worship a bit differently in MD than in VA, and then doing it all again on February 23, which is also World Mission Sunday. Thanks so much for all your prayers and support for our small group in MD. And think about joining us once in the coming months to see how things are unfolding in Hyattsville. We’d love to have you.
